Launched at the beginning of 2021, the podcast “Whose Song is it Anyway?” gives a unique perspective on copyright in the music industry by talking to music artists, songwriters, musicians and people from the music industry. Each forty-minute-long episode highlights different aspects of creativity and copyright. Co-hosted by Brunel Law School Lecturer Dr Hayleigh Bosher and Jules O’Riordan (Entertainment Lawyer and artist known as Judge Jules), the weekly episodes delve into everything music creators need to understand about IP rights.

Guests include Bill Patry from Google, artists Imogen Heap and Tom Gray, songwriter Crispin Hunt and representatives from organisations including PRS for Music and UK Music.

Full-length episodes are available on all podcast platforms, and shorter preview videos are on YouTube. New episodes are published every Monday.
